Design

At DYN we have State-of-the-Art CAD/CAM facilities with CAM-ware programming direct to all production machines. 2,400 mē of production area employing the very latest in CNC machining centres and CNC Lathes utilising the most modern technology with both bar feed and robot loading facilities capable of producing bearings up to a diameter of 1.4 meters!

Bronze metals

Consistency of material quality with a Spectrograph analysis of every batch produced. Complete traceability to ISO 9001:2000 quality standards. Large stocks of processed materials allowing for same day delivery for most breakdown applications.

Castings

With centrifugal and continuous cast materials DYN processed materials are unique with a greater resistance to wear and pick-up. DYN materials generally give two to three times the life of conventional alloys with a similar chemical composition.

Material test results

The Polytechnic of Central London conducted a series of tests under the extreme operating conditions of dry running. DYN GZ14 material proved to have twice the wear resistance against a conventional bronze BS 1400. PB2 prefered when tested under the same operating conditions of load, speed and mating steel. DYN GZ14 material also ran cooler with a reduced wear on the mating steel part.

Trials on screw nuts conducted under normal conditions showed DYN bronzes to have three times the wear life.

QUALITY CONTROL:

Quality control is of paramount importance. In 1990 DYN obtained approval of their quality assurance capability to ISO 9002, amended in 2003 to ISO 9001:2000

Computer equipment measures the critical dimensions in and environmentally controlled test facility before dispatch.
